This original 6.75"x10" handmade collage features a selection of hand cut paper rocks stacked into a cairn (a wayfinding structure built of stacked rocks) on a page from an old National Geographic covered with gesso. One of a series of four. Ready for framing. 
 
Geology and cairns feature prominently in my work. I have loved rocks since I was a tiny girl, searching for them along the Lake Superior shorline with my geologist grandmother.
